Water-borne Dispersants
Water-based dispersants exhibit stronger hydrophilic and oleophobic properties, making them specialized additives for water-based coatings and inks. Their primary function is to ensure the uniform dispersion of pigments and fillers in aqueous environments. Their working principle mainly relies on charge stability (electrostatic repulsion) or steric hindrance effects to inhibit particle agglomeration, thereby maintaining the dispersion stability of the coating.
