They are commonly used as high-efficiency additives to improve the smoothness and flowability of paint surfaces. In high-gloss paints, leveling agents improve coating smoothness, making the film smoother and exhibiting a more uniform gloss, thus enhancing the visual effect and surface quality of the paint.
